When you go to the movies, are you there because you heard about how much fun the movie was to make and how good the story is? Or do you go because you heard that they spent a fortune on it and all the A List celebrities they cast to gain the crowds that it generates? If you chose the former, then good on you! You know the importance of a good storyline as opposed to the people that are in it or the cost to make the movie itself seem more attractive.Get more information here. http://friendlyatheist.com/2011/07/06/2011-atheist-film-festival-in-san-francisco/ If you chose the latter, then that’s okay but you may be missing the real point of the movies. You see, filmmakers without the resources to spend millions on movies or hire the most famous actors often do well with the movies they make anyway. Why? Because of the imaginitive storylines they create and the way they interpret these storylines with the limited resources they can afford or are given. Such filmmakers make movies for the Sundance Film Fesitval and often inspire others to make the best movies they can. This Film Festival gives young, amateur filmmakers a chance to express their ideas and compete with one another while having fun at the same time. It also boosts their confidence and gives them a chance at making it big time with their movies, and everybody involved in the movie. THAT is why the Sundance Film Festival is so important.
